The need

Every year, Judo Club Sambreville hosts an international tournament welcoming hundreds of judokas from many clubs. Registering by e-mail and spreadsheet required a huge amount of data entry and checking.

The solution

Each club receives a registration code and enters its judokas online, one by one or through an import. Licences are checked automatically, either by scanning the QR code of the membership card or against the federation's official listing, which pre-fills the forms and avoids mistakes.

Registration fees are paid online through Mollie (Bancontact, cards…), and the organisers have a secure dashboard to follow registrations and payments in real time.

Architecture

React 19 + TypeScript front end (Vite, Material UI) and a Node.js/Express back end running as a Windows service behind IIS. Administration access is protected by server-signed sessions and personal data never leaves the server.
