Situation

The Caméo cinema in Tamines had an old website and no mobile app. Following a dispute, the manager had lost access to the website and its data, without the sources or the skills to build a new one.

Architecture

Usidistrib built a new website and apps that interact with it. The site is built with ASP.NET MVC and Web API, and the apps talk to it through Web API requests.

The data was recovered from archived pages of the former site, then enriched through the Allociné API.

Delivered solution

The home page keeps the former site's timetable grid, now fully automated and interactive. The tablet app offers the same grid, synchronised in real time with the website, usable with mouse, keyboard or touch.

On phones, a different tab-based interface highlights the most requested information – today's schedule – then the details of each film, swiping from one film to the next.
